The Iowa Showcase will take place in the Sheraton Ballroom throughout the festival and will focus exclusively on films and videos made by Iowans. Check here for the full list of selections, and check the schedule for times. Drop in throughout the festival to see short and long movies made right here in Iowa and/or by Iowans.


Family-Friendly Movies presented by Summer of the Arts in conjunction with Landlocked will take place on the Pentacrest in front of MacBridge Hall, starting around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday evening, August 11, 2007. Live music will precede the movie screening.

The Spanish-Language Screening will feature short films from Spain plus one film shot in Iowa by the Rodriguez brothers of Des Moines. All films have English subtitles so that they can be enjoyed by people who speak either Spanish OR English as a first language. Takes places in the Englert Theatre from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2007.
