CALL FOR ENTRIES 2008 Eligibility Submissions may be shot in any film format or any video format. Only one title may be submitted per entry. Films, videos or script must have been completed on or after January 1, 2005. Students must include a photocopy of current student ID with entry. Students are not required to submit in the student category – you have the choice of entering in any appropriate category. Submission Film or video entries must be submitted on DVD (region 1 or 0 strongly preferred) or VHS (NTSC strongly preferred) to be considered in the competition. For scripts entered into competition, submit 2 printed copies of the script. Films and videos in all languages are welcomed to the competition, but if the language is not English, then English subtitles must be used. Only English-language scripts can be considered. Mark the VHS tape, DVD or script with the Withoutabox (WAB) number, the title of the film/video/script, running time (not applicable for scripts), submitter’s
name, contact information and category.
If you are using U.S. mail: All DVDs, VHS tapes, and script copies will become the property of the Landlocked Film Festival and will not be returned unless a self-addressed stamped mailer is enclosed. Landlocked Film Festival is not responsible for submissions which arrive in damaged condition. Program Selections Films will be selected for the festival program and entrants will be notified on or around July 1, 2007. Promotional Use Participants agree that all materials related to their film may be published in the Festival Program, Web page and all other promotional materials or property and in all media. Posters and images of the film may be used independently as well as in combination with images from other films to promote the film and Landlocked Film Festival. Clearances It is the responsibility of the filmmakers to be sure they have proper clearances, as needed, for copyrighted material appearing in their entries. The filmmakers remain entirely liable for any claims that may occur in result of screening the entries.
